Zapier’s OneNote Integration Journey - OneNote Dev Blog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs:
If you have not used OneNote yet what are you waiting for? It is a great product and truly one of the best ways to take notes, work with documents, and collaborate.
Oh by the way, it's free.

Get email addresses in my spreadsheet into columns instead of rows
Get email addresses in my spreadsheet into columns instead of rows: "Copy the email addresses from Notepad and paste them into Microsoft Word. Notice that there are a number of spaces between each email address. Highlight one of these spaces and click Edit > Copy.
Click Edit > Replace, the Find and Replace window will open.
Place your cursor in the Find What field and press Ctrl-V. This will paste the blank spaces into the Find What field.
Place your cursor in the Replace With field and type ^l (Press Shift-6 to get the "^", then press the L key to get the "l").
Click Replace All, the email addresses will now be in column format.
Copy the email addresses from your Word document and paste into a new Excel file."

Chris O'Brien: Using the Content Search web part (and understanding SP2013 search)
Chris O'Brien: Using the Content Search web part (and understanding SP2013 search):
SharePoint 2013 does have some social functionality out of the box, but as we now, even Microsoft realizes that their technology has its limitations. Some of the limitations can be overcome using the Content Search web part. One of the big issues with SharePoint social is that it still tends to silo information into different team sites, site collections, subsite, etc. If you have a large environment with many different site collections and you interact with many of them, you can find yourself, your content, and your discussion lost in the forest. The Content Search web part can traverse multiple properties and aggregate information for you. You can set up the web part in any page and have it specific to the user to the page. So the results are customize for them. It goes a long way to tying SharePoint together.

The alternative for Meeting Workspaces in SharePoint 2013 - SharePoint Community
The alternative for Meeting Workspaces in SharePoint 2013 - SharePoint Community:
If you used SharePoint 2010 Meeting workspaces for organizing meetings, you'll notice the 2013 does not have this feature. But you can make a template that will mimic the functionality. It actually works nicely.
