Announcing the Delicious iPad app! | Delicious Blog
Announcing the Delicious iPad app! | Delicious Blog:
If you use or used to use Delicious to manage bookmarks you have noticed that trying to use the Web site has become a disaster. Since their upgrade last fall you can no longer update tags in an existing post, you can not see the existing link before clicking on it, and whole host of other issues.
The upgrade last fall was really a down grade and I was extremely disappointed at a technology that was very cool and quickly explained to the layman how 'Tagging and Tags" worked.
Well some or our answers have been answered since the release of the IPAD app for Delicious. I did not download this app as I assumed it would suck as bad as the website, but to my surprise much of the lost functionality is now available. You can see a preview of the link before it opens it and you can edit Tags of existing links.
I will say that It only works in the Portrait layout and does not switch to Landscape. Bummer, but at least I can edit my tags.
