I came across this site that does what slideshare does but with pictographic images. It has an excellent range of topics and the graphs are very good at illustrating any number of ideas or positions that you could use to influence or convey meaning in a straightforward way.
Since I deal with Social Enterprise this link is the result of a search for "social enterprise" but you could put any search you please and browse topics that interest you.
Have fun.

Begin Here | Three Thrifty Guys:
This is a little out of the norm for my typical tech related posts, but this is a great site for ideas on how to save money. I just read an article about Ooma, a Vonage alternative, I was impressed enough to give Ooma a try.
They have articles covering many money saving topics, from "how to save on your water bill" to product reviews. I like that fact that they actually use the products for a period of time before they write the review. To me this gives the site its chops.

Internet Topology - Massive and Amazing Graphs – Big Data News
http://www.bigdatanews.com/m/blogpost?id=6608741%3ABlogPost%3A2728
If you love big crazy complicated illustrations of huge amounts of data presented in a beautiful way this post from www.bigdatanews.com writen by Data Analytics expert Vincent Granville is for you.
Vincent did a couple of google searches of complicated illustrations and posted some of the results of his queries on this post. The best thing that these graphs/pictures illustrate is the enormous complexity of information that we have generated. The complexity further is reflected in the fact that the graphs represent many different types or genres of information that we generate. When I say "we" I am referring to us as a species. Each of us just by being alive generate a considerable amount of data points collected by various government entities and our further activities of just being alive and interacting within our own cultures create data points i.e. surfing the web, using a reward card, etc. Then consider that some of us are in the business of generating further data about yet another set of huge variables. The mountain of information is like looking at the stars in the sky, limitless.
So how do we make sense of this information, well the best way is via interactive visualizations and Vince has found some of the biggest and most attractive publicly available here in this post. This further goes into how do you make a limitless view, well, more limited. Many of these graphs have a interactive component that allows the user or viewer to drill down into the the meat and potatoes of the information if they choose too. This method allows one to immediately make sense of what is ultimately a complex system and allows them to see the substituent parts that make up the data set as a whole.
Great work Mr Granville.
